Kindergarten Readiness
Our program for 4-5 year olds is designed to give kids the best opportunity for success in kindergarten. Through the use of play-based activities and hands-on experiences, we will focus on the whole child; ensuring equal opportunities for social and emotional growth, gross and fine motor development, and language, literacy and early math concepts.
Although a developmentally appropriate program for kids this age doesn’t look like endless worksheets and hours sitting at a table, both of those things will occur in some capacity during their first year of school. So to prepare them for that, we will introduce both. Much of this will combine with another skill, such as strengthening fine motor skills with scissors and glue, collaging with stickers, or promoting literacy by learning to write the parts of letters (lines and curves) as a precursor to actual letters.
Tiny Notes is an inclusive space where each child will feel safe and respected. By valuing our community's diversity, we foster not only the children’s individual needs but also a deep sense of empathy and belonging. This is the starting point for our youth to shine!
Class will run Monday-Thursday, 9-12:30 pm and will follow the SKSD calendar. The first day of preschool will be Tuesday, September 2nd. Spots are limited—class will max out at 10 students- and registration is open now.

Who We Are
At Tiny Notes, we take pride in our early childhood programs, carefully crafted and overseen by bachelor's and master's level professionals specializing in early childhood, elementary, or special education.
Our approach is centered on inclusion and rooted in the arts. We believe in hands-on, play-based learning that nurtures your child's readiness for kindergarten across various areas such as arts, social/emotional development, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and academics.
Upon enrollment, a $125 non-refundable registration fee is required, with the first month's tuition due by the first day of school. Our school year at Tiny Notes will be from September 8th, 2025 to June 12th, 2026
