Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy

At Tiny Notes, our ABA therapy programs provide personalized, evidence-based support to help children, between the ages of 2 and 12, thrive, learn, and grow in a nurturing and playful environment.

Transitional Group

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Our Transitional Groups are designed for children preparing to enter kindergarten who may need additional support with key developmental milestones. These sessions focus on improving transitions between activities, maintaining attention to tasks, and balancing skill acquisition with behavior management. Using evidence-based ABA techniques, we help children enhance their ability to engage with peers, follow routines, and develop the foundational skills needed for a successful transition to school.

Behavioral
Group

12:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Behavioral Groups provide a supportive environment for children who require more intensive behavior intervention and are not yet developmentally ready for Transitional Groups. This program focuses on teaching foundational skills, reducing challenging behaviors, and fostering early social interaction through individualized ABA strategies. It serves as an entry point for children to build confidence and prepare for more structured group settings in the future.

Social
Group

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Social Groups are tailored for elementary-aged children up to 12 years old who are working to improve social interactions, emotional regulation, and peer relationships. These sessions focus on skills like turn-taking, cooperative play, and responding to peer or teacher demands. By using targeted ABA methods, we address challenges such as managing school-related behaviors and navigating group settings, helping children thrive in social environments.

   ABA Programs

   What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science-based approach to understanding and improving behaviors that are important to an individual’s learning, development, and overall quality of life. Rooted in decades of research, ABA focuses on using principles of behavior and learning to promote positive changes while addressing behaviors that may be challenging or interfere with daily life.

ABA therapy is highly individualized, tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each person. It involves assessing a child's strengths, challenges, and environment to create a plan that supports their success. Through positive reinforcement and systematic teaching, ABA helps individuals acquire new skills, enhance communication, improve social interactions, and develop greater independence.

Key components of ABA include:

  • Behavior Analysis: Understanding what motivates behaviors and how the environment influences them.

  • Skill Development: Teaching essential skills such as communication, social engagement, self-care, and academic readiness.

  • Behavior Reduction: Addressing behaviors that may be harmful or disruptive by teaching healthier alternatives.

  • Data-Driven: Constantly collecting and analyzing data to monitor progress and refine strategies.

ABA therapy is most commonly associated with supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), but it is also effective for children with a wide range of developmental, behavioral, and learning challenges.

At Tiny Notes, our ABA therapy programs combine the proven effectiveness of ABA with a warm, inclusive, and child-centered approach, empowering children and their families to achieve meaningful milestones and long-term success.

At Tiny Notes, we strive to make the intake process as seamless as possible for families seeking Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
